Description : Recombinant Human Casein Kinase 2 beta is a non-glycosylated polypeptide having a molecular mass of 24.9 kDa. Recombinant Casein Kinase 2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Formulation: Recombinant Human CK2b is lyophilized from 25 mM Tris-HCl, 500mM NaCl, 1mM DTT, 1mM EDTA, 500 M AEBSF, 1 M leupeptin, 1 g/ml aprotinin, pH 8.5. Solubilize in distilled H2O or 50%glycerol.

Unit definition: 1U = 1 mol/min at 37 degree C) using the synthetic peptide RRRDDDSDDD.

Solubility: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized rHuCK2b in sterile 18MO-cm H2O not less than 100 g/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Stability: Lyophilized Recombinant Human CK2b although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -180C. Upon reconstitution Recombinant CK2beta should be stored at 40C between 2-7 days and for future use below -180C. Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.

Dimers and aggregates: Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.

Biological Activity: specific activity > 1U/mg.
