Glutathione Sepharose® 4B

  • Reduced glutathione (GSH) covalently coupled to Sepharose® via 10-carbon spacer arm.
  • For affinity purification of proteins containing glutathione S-transferase (GST) fusion tag.
  • Supplied as suspension in 20% ethanol.
  • 1ml drained gel binds more than 5mg of recombinant GST-protein.
  • Ligand coupled: Reduced glutathione (GSH)
  • Ligand couping method: Epoxy activation
  • Matrix: 4 % agarose bead
  • Binding capacity: > 5mg GST/ml drained gel
  • Exclusion limit: approximately 2 x 107
  • Particle size (range): 50-175µm
  • Storage: 2-8ºC
