Quantigold is for quantitative determination of low protein concentration.
Fast, sensitive assay which is ideal for accurately detecting nanogram quantities of protein in solution.
Capitalizes on the affinity of protein to colloidal gold, this assay creates a stable color formation which may be read by a spectrophotometer set at 595nm.
Protein quantities can be interpolated from the BSA standard curve, which is linear in the 5-200ng range.
Sensitive: 100 times more sensitive than other dye-binding assays.
Quick and Easy: One-step, one-solution assay that can be completed in 40-60 minutes.
Stable: Accurate results, readable up to 24 hours following completion of the assay.
Quantigold provides a convenient assay system that requires only minimal amounts of valuable protein samples.
Only materials required are: Quantigold, Type 1 or distilled/deionized water, micropipettes, 1.5 ml clear microfuge tubes, and disposable micro-assay cuvettes (1.0 ml).
Quantigold is stable for at least 6 months at 4°C.
Do not freeze.
