Description

Glacial Acetic Acid is a weak organic acid often used in biotechnology. It can be used for adjusting pH or as a hydrophilic protic solvent.

Traditionally, Acetic Acid has been used to test the effectiveness of analgesics on mice via a writhing test. Molecular Biology Grade Actic Acid, Glacial, is of >99% purity.
