Application:

Biotin-conjugated bovine serum albumin binds specifically to different vascular cells in lymphoid tissues, as shown by both fluorescent and enzymohistochemical techniques, and thus offers a histochemical probe for identification of microvascular endothelia. In spleen, biotin-BSA binds to rep pulp sinuses, but not white pulp vessels (including the central arteriole). In thymus, prominent binding was observed to the capillaries of the corticomedullary area of the organ.
