Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA), Fraction V - Low Endotoxin

Bovine Serum Albumin, Fraction V - Low Endotoxin is a highly purified, lyophilized powder. It is of a finer consistency than normal Fraction V albumin, having a particle size of <300 µm. This makes it ideal for many microbiological applications.

BSA Low Endotoxin is of >99% purity and is at a neutral pH of 7.0. It is treated to be essentially free of non-esterified fatty acids and to contain ≤1 EU/mL of bacterial endotoxin. Bovine Serum Albumin is soluble in distilled water, though it is recommended to add salts to the solution before dissolving the albumin to improve solubility.
