Description

BSA is a popular reagent in Western Blotting, enzyme systems, and protein supplements. Bovine Serum Albumin, RNase Free is a single subunit protein with no enzymatic activity, so as not to interfere with molecular biology applications. Because of its stable nature, BSA is ideal for blocking in Immunohistochemistry by binding to non-specific bonding sites and leaving the antigens of interest open for antibodies.

BSA, RNase Free is tested for a number of chemical impurities, as well as pathogens that could be present in the donor serum. At >99% purity, this albumin is ready to be used directly in microbiology applications. However, it is recommended to sterile-filter any BSA solutions before long-term storage to avoid contamination.

If you are looking for other buffers and reagents necessary for Immunohistochemistry and ELISA, bioWORLD has everything you need at affordable prices.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
