Mouse Serum Albumin, also known as MSA, is a lyophilized powder derived from Webster strain mouse serum. The albumin is purified by cold alcohol fractionation; no heat is involved. Albumin is used in gel electrophoresis as well as a protein standard in ELISA.

This Mouse Serum Albumin is guaranteed to be >96% pure via SDS-PAGE. It is essentially free of globulins and soluble in aqueous solutions with gentle agitation. MSA is available as a 2 mg/mL or 10 mg/mL sterile solution.
