DPBS 1X Buffer without Mg and Ca

DPBS 1X Buffer without Mg and Ca is commonly used to to provide a buffer system to maintain cell culture media in the physiological pH range. This buffer has also been used to irrigate, transport, or dilute fluid while maintaining cell tonicity and viability. This formulation without calcium and magnesium aides in rinsing chelators from the culture before cell dissociation.
