Krebs-Henseleit Buffered Solution, Sterile

Krebs-Henseleit buffered solution is experimentally used to study arteries ex vivo. This buffer contains 118 mM NaCl, 4.7 mM KCl, 1.20 mM MgSO₄, 1.20 mM KH₂PO₄, 25 mM NaHCO₃, 10 mM HEPES, 11.1 mM D-glucose. It has been prepared in DI water and filtered through a 0.22 µ filter. Product has a pH level of 7.2 ± 0.1 and is stored at 2 - 8°C.
