PBS Buffer with Ca and Mg, pH 7.4, Sterile

PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline) contains calcium and magnesium, unlike other forms that do not, and is at a pH of 7.4. Calcium and magnesium facilitate cell binding and clumping. PBS is a water-based salt solution that helps maintain a constant pH. PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline) is isotonic and non-toxic to most cells so therefore has many uses, including substance dilution and cell container rinsing.
