Sodium Acetate 3.0M, pH 7.0, RNase Free

Sodium acetate has a concentration of 3M and a pH level of 7.0, and is prepared in DEPC-treated water. Highly sensitive RNase assays are performed at several different stages of the manufacturing process to ensure highest quality. Product is stored at room temperature.

Sodium acetate is widely used in molecular biology applications as a buffer and in the purification and precipitation of nucleic acids, protein crystallization, staining of protein gels, and HPLC.
