Sodium Acetate 3M, pH 5.2

Sodium acetate has a concentration of 3M and a pH level of 5.2. It is a common biological buffer that has been treated with DEPC for DNA and RNA applications. Sodium acetate has been prepared with the finest biotechnology grade chemicals in purified water that is treated to remove particulates, salts, dissolve trace metals, organic compounds and microorganisms. Sodium acetate is widely used in molecular biology applications as a buffer and in the purification and precipitation of nucleic acids, protein crystallization, staining of protein gels, and HPLC.
