It is formulated to maintain cell viability for testing without necessarily promoting growth. This buffered solution is most commonly used to examine the presence of microbes on pharmaceutical products.

Sodium Chloride Peptone Solution Buffered is provided as a sterile ready-to-use solution. It is prepared using only Ultra Pure raw chemicals including Sodium Chloride, Potassium Phosphate, Sodium Phosphate, and a low concentration of Peptone.
