TE Buffer with 0.1% Tween 20, pH 8.0, Sterile

TE Buffer with 0.1% Tween 20, pH 8.0, Sterile is commonly used in molecular biology, especially when DNA, cDNA, or RNA is involved in the procedure. TE is derived from two components: Tris and EDTA, a chelating agent. Added Tween 20, a non-ionic detergent, reduces the absorption of DNA to plastics and allows for greater pipetting accuracy. Contains 10mM Tris-HCl and 1mM EDTA.
