TE Buffer with LiCl and LDS pH 8.0, Sterile is commonly used in molecular biology, especially when DNA, cDNA, or RNA is involved in the procedure. TE is derived from two components: Tris and EDTA, a chelating agent. Lithium is soluble in buffers containing a high quantity of SDS. Contains 10mM Tris-HCl, 1mM EDTA.
