Paromomycin Sulfate Aminoglycoside is an antibiotic with mode of action similar to Kanamycin and Neomycin. Paromomycin inhibits protein synthesis by binding to Ribosomal RNA. Paromomycin Sulfate is used as a selective agent for the incorporation of the NPT II (APH3') gene in plant tissue. Cell culture tested.
