Description

Tunicamycin is an analogue of UDP-GlcNAc, and inside eukaryotic cells can disrupt the initial oligosaccharide formation by blocking the initial GlcNAc addition to the dolichol-phosphate.  It is also a competitive cell cycle inhibitor.
