Description

Tween 20, also known as Polysorbate 20, is a non-ionic detergent commonly used in molecular biology. When combined with a buffer like TBS, it makes an effective washing buffer for Western Blotting and ELISA. Tween 20 is also a popular choice for preparing solutions for microplate coating.

Tween 20 has a viscosity around 400 and is of Biotechnology Grade. Most buffer preparations call for Polysorbate 20 at 0.5% or less in the working concentration. bioWORLD's line of TBST and PBST Buffers contain Tween 20 with Ultra Pure reagents for a number of antibody and cell lysis applications.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
