RIPA Buffer with Surfactant + 10% glycerol 2X

RIPA (Radioimmunoprecipitation assay) buffer is one of the most reliable buffers used to lyse cultured mammalian cells from both plated cells and cells pelleted from suspension cultures. This buffer enables protein extraction from cytoplasmic, membrane and and is particularly useful for disruption of nuclear membranes in the preparation of nuclear extracts. It is compatible with many applications, including reporter assays, protein assays, immunoassays and protein purification. This buffer contains Tris-HCL 100 mM, NaCL 300 mM, Triton x 100 2%, Sodium deoxycholate 1%, SDS 0.2% and Glycerol 10%.
