Description

Deoxycholic Acid Sodium Salt, also known as Sodium Deoxycholate, is an ionic detergent for the solubilization of membrane-bound proteins. It is commony used in microbiology for cell lysing, especially because it can be removed from the solution via dialysis. Sodium Deoxycholate is also a popular ingredient in eluting buffers for affinity chromatography.

Deoxycholic Acid Sodium Salt is of Molecular Biology Grade and is of pH 7.5-9.5. bioWORLD offers a 10% solution for use in molecular biology applications. bioWORLD carries all of the chemicals and detergents necessary to create the perfect buffer for your specific needs.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
