Description

Doxycycline Hydrochloride is a semi-synthetic tetracycline antibiotic with a wide range of microbiology applications. It works by disrupting protein synthesis in both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The stability of Doxycycline HCl makes it an ideal choice for transgene regulation.

Doxycycline HCl is more readily soluble in aqueous solutions than the monohydrate version. Solubility is increased in acidic conditions.

bioWORLD carries an extensive portfolio of buffers and reagents necessary for gene regulation and tissue culture media.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
