Afinity purified Tulip sp. Lectin II (TL II) is a tetrameric protein and has a molecular weight of 67 kDa. TL II lectin agglutinates specifically the yeast cells of the Saccharomyces genus. The lectin has specificity to D-mannose and L-fucose.
