Description

10X concentrated Sample Reducing Agent for Protein Electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gels (PAGE).

Consists of 500 mM DTT as stabilized liquid concentrate for final (1X) concentration of 50 mM.

Specifications:

  • Maintains reducing environment to reduce disulfide bonds in protein samples for optimal separation by PAGE
  • Best used with high pH (above pH 8.0) sample loading buffers to maximize reducing activity and stability of DTT.
  • Ultra Grade DTT (dithiothreitol)
  • Store frozen. Aliquot as needed (and freeze). Thawed tubes are stable for 1 week at 4°C
