• TBS (Tris Buffered Saline) is a pH stabilizing solution used for western blot and ELISA procedures.
• It is an optimal formulation of salts and pH stabilizers which enable washing without disruption of antibody-antigen binding interactions.
• It is used as a washing buffer for alkaline phosphatase or peroxidase conjugates in Western blotting.

Technical Information:

The working solutions contain 250mM Tris, 27mM potassium chloride and 1.37M sodium chloride. pH is adjusted to 7.6 with HCl.
