TBS 10X with 0.5% Tween 20, pH 7.4

TBS with Tween 20 is a pH stabilizing solution used for Western blot and ELISA procedures. It has an optimal formulation of salts and pH stabilizers which enable washing without disruption of antibody-antigen binding interactions. It is used as a washing buffer for alkaline phosphatase or peroxidase conjugates in Western blotting. Tween� 20 is a non-ionic detergent that reduces non-specific binding and protein-protein interaction during the washing step in immunoassay procedures.
