Tris HCl 10mM Buffer with 1.2M Sorbitol & 0.010M Calcium Chloride, Sterile is a stabilizing buffer with various biological applications in electrochromatography, UV analysis, and HPLC. It is used to adjust and stabilize pH ranges for gels used in gel electrophoresis applications. Added sorbitol and calcium chloride promotes the uptake of materials, such as DNA, into the cells and enhances the activity of certain enzymes.
