TT SDS Running Buffer Cathode 10X

Tris-Tricine (TT)-SDS running buffer has a 10X concentration and a pH of 8.3. Tris-Tricine (TT)-SDS running buffer contains 1M Tris-base, 1M Tricine and 1% SDS.The tricine system requires SDS in sample and running buffers for best results. Tricine-SDS PAGE is commonly used to separate proteins that range in molecular weight between 1 – 100 kDa but is preferred for the resolution of proteins smaller than 30 kDa.
