PBS Buffer 10X, pH 7.4, Sterile

PBS (Phosphate Buffered Saline) is a sterile solution, no bacterial or fungal growth observed after 14 days, with a concentration of 10X. It contains 10.0 mM NaH₂PO₄, 1.37M NaCl, 27.0 mM KCl, 15.0 mM KH₂PO₄ and has a pH of 7.4. PBS is a water-based salt solution that helps maintain a constant pH. It is isotonic and non-toxic to most cells so therefore has many uses, including substance dilution and cell container rinsing.
