Acetosyringone (100 mM) in DMSO, Sterile

Acetosyringone is a signaling compound secreted from wounded dicot plant tissues which attracts  Agrobacterium sp. for transfection and transformation.  At a 5-200 uM concentration it can enhance transformation in monocots such as rice and wheat seadlings.

Acetosyringone is provided as a sterile solution in DMSO and can be used directly or adding to culture medium.
