Bestatin (Ubenimex) is a competitive protease inhibitor - a specific inhibitor of aminopeptidase B and leucine aminopeptidase.

Biological Activity: Aminopeptidase inhibitor (Ki = 0.001-90 mM); inhibits enkephalin metabolism and leukotriene A4 hydrolase. Inhibits tumor cell proliferation.
