Description

DEPC, or Diethyl pyrocarbonate,is a potent nuclease inhibitor. It is used to prepare buffers and solutions for molecular biology applications because it inactivates DNase and RNase that could interfere with assay results.

Ultra Pure DEPC has a refractive index of 1.3973. For use in reagent preparation, add a few drops to distilled water and autoclave after letting sit for a minimum of 2 hours. Then the water can be used to prepare any number of aqueous solutions and re-sterilized as desired.

RNase AWAY is a specialized formula that can be used directly on lab materials before working with RNA. bioWORLD carries an extensive portfolio of pre-treated DNase, RNase, and Protease free buffers, as well as everything you need for RNA isolation.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
