Description

AMP (2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) buffer has a 0.2M concentration. AMP is found in the Good's buffer category. AMP has been shown to be suited for the determination of the activity of enzymes such as alkaline phosphatase, lactate and malate dehydrogenase. AMP has various uses such as, the synthesis of 2-oxazolidinones via carbonylation with CO when salen-cobalt catalysts are present, and the extraction of carboxylic acids for GC analysis.
