MES Buffer 1M, pH 6.1

MES Buffer is a zwitterionic buffer used in cation-exchange chromatography. It is also a popular choice as a Good's buffer in Bis-Tris gel electrophoresis and plant tissue culture. This MES Buffer 1M, pH 6.1 is suitable for any number of these molecular biological applications.

MES Buffer is prepared using Molecular Biology Grade MES Free Acid in deionized and distilled water. It's pKa near physiological pH makes it ideal for cell culture. This MES Buffer may be diluted as desired with distilled water. Filtration is not necessary, as the solution is already a pure product.
