Description

MOPSO, 3-Morpholino-2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid, is a commonly known Good's buffer. MOPSO is prepared by adding NaOH to a free acid solution and is partially degraded by autoclaving. MOPSO is also a zwitterionic aminosulfonate buffer homologous to MOPS and is frequently used as a buffering agent in biology and biochemistry.
