PIPES Buffer 1M, pH 6.8, Sterile

PIPES is a popular Good's buffer for cell culture. With high resolution and a pKa near physiological pH, PIPES is an ideal choice for a number of microbiological applications. It has been observed to be especially effective as a buffer for Glutaraldehyde in histology and microscopy.

PIPES is most effective at buffering between pH 6.1-7.5. This sterile buffer is prepared with Biotechnology Grade raw materials. bioWORLD carries a number of PIPES buffers at differing concentrations and pH for every need.
