Description

Indole-3-Butyric Acid is a phytohormone that encourages plant growth and regulation. It is one of the most effective auxins available to increase root formation.

Indole-3-Butyric Acid is a >98% pure auxin that must be dissolved in Ethanol before being diluted into other aqueous solutions.

Because IBA is more readily soluble in Ethanol, IBA-K is also available in a form that delivers the same results in plant tissue culture, but is water soluble. For ease of use, a sterile solution of IBA at 1 mg/mL can be added directly to plant tissue culture media.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
