Description

Agaricus bisporus Agglutinin (ABA) is a refined tetramer composed of two to four isolectins, designed for targeted carbohydrate binding with distinct sites for galactose-ß-1,3-N-acetylgalactosamine and galactose-ß-1,3-N-acetylglucosamine. This powerful lectin exhibits notable anti-proliferative effects on cancerous cells, making it a valuable asset in cancer research. Once bound to surface glycoproteins, ABA can be internalized through clathrin-coated vesicles, effectively inhibiting the nuclear import of signal-dependent proteins. 

Application:  Immunological research, Signaling, Glycan/cell type recognition

Recommended Usage: Phosphate buffer (1X) can be used to reconstitute the lyophilized cake.
