Eosin Methylene Blue Agar (HOLT, Harris)

Eosin Methylene Blue Agar, Modified (formula of Holt-Harris and Teague) is a slightly selective and differential medium for the isolation, cultivation and differentiation of gram-negative enteric bacilli. Eosin Methylene Blue Agar a pH of 7.2 and a working concentration of 36 g/L. Eosin Methylene Blue Agar appears dark blue purple when prepared and is soluble in boiling water.
