YT Broth (2X)

Nutritionally enriched medium for the growth of recombinant strains of E. Coli and in the preparation and transformation of competent cells.

Contains (g/L):

• Tryptone: 16 g
• Yeast Extract 10g
• Sodium Chloride 5g

Instruction to Use: Dissolve 31g in one liter distilled water. Heat solution to boiling with continuous stirring. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes. Final ph@ 25°C: 6.8-7.2.
