Description

Ammonium Acetate Buffer 10M, Sterile is used for DNA and RNA purification, as well as in chromatography. This common molecular biology reagent is often used as a protein precipitating reagent as well as for the precipitation of DNA.

This buffer has a concentration of 10mM and a pH of 7.5. bioWORLD's Ammonium Acetate Buffer is 0.22µm sterile-filtered and helps to maintain a solution pH between 3.8 and 5.8. It can be used as a catalyst in the Knoevenagel condensation for synthesis of chromans, as well as an ammonia source in the Borch reduction for protein precipitation.

This Ammonium Acetate Buffer 10M is prepared using molecular biology grade distilled water and >99% raw material of Ammonium Acetate. It is then passed through several quality control measures of filtration and sterilization. This makes it a perfect reagent for DNA precipitation alongside Absolute Alcohol.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
