Blood Genomic DNA Isolation Mini

The Blood Genomic DNA Isolation Mini Kit is a fast and simple protocol for the preparation of high quality DNA from whole blood, plasma, and serum. No phenol or chloroform are required, making it a safer procedure. The use of rapid spin-columns allows for the processing of 10 samples in just 30 minutes.

The Blood Genomic DNA Isolation Mini Kit is designed for input volumes of 20-200 µL. The average yield from a 200 µL sample is 4-12 µg of pure DNA. For larger samples, we recommend the Midi (300 µL - 2 mL) and Maxi (2-10 mL) kits.

DNA isolated from the Blood Genomic DNA Isolation Kit is free of contamination and degradation. The high quality DNA is suitable for downstream PCR, Southern Blot, and restriction enzyme digestion.
