Cargille Type FF Immersion Oil

Cargille Immersion Oil, Type FF is used for observing low levels of fluorescence in microscopy because it has virtually no background fluorescence. Immersion oil is an irreplaceable tool in microscopy to protect the lens and improve the image resolution.

Type FF oil is odorless, non-drying, and non-hardening. It has a viscosity of 170 cSt. Just apply directly to the coverslip over your sample and focus the objective until it is touching the surface of the oil.
