5-Fluorouracil is an antineoplastic antimetabolite pyrimidine analog that functions as a blocker. 5-Fluorouracil inhibits the synthesis of DNA by blocking the thymidylate synthetase conversion of deoxyuridylic acid to thymidylic acid. This product is for laboratory use only.
