Description

Indole-3-Acetic Acid, also known as IAA or Heteroauxin, stimulates root growth in plants. As the most popular choice for plant growth, this hormone promotes cell elongation and regulates phototropism. IAA is a critical signaling auxin in the plant's stress response. Idole-3-Acetic Acid has even been observed to decrease toxicity of heavy metals in certain plants.

IAA is provided as a high quality powder that is of >98% purity. It is a common additive to plant tissue culture media, such as Murashige and Skoog (MS). bioWORLD offers a portfolio of over 200 plant media formulations for every need.

bioWORLD's products are supplied for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as a drug, agricultural or pesticidal product, food additive or as a household chemical.
