Description

AMP (2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) buffer concentrate has a boiling point 165°C and a melting point range of 24-28°C. AMP has been shown to be suited for the determination of the activity of enzymes like alkaline phosphatase, lactate and malate dehydrogenase. It can also be used for the determination of the activity of human chymase in a composite buffer system. Its molecular formula is C4H11NO and has a pKa value of 9.7 at 25°C. Its molecular weight is 89.14 g/mol and has a density of 0.935 kg/l. 5% water has been added to maintain its liquid state at room temperature.
