Part of the AP-3 complex, an adapter-related complex which is not clathrin-associated. The complex is associated with the Golgi region as well as more peripheral structures. It facilitates the budding of vesicles from the Golgi membrane and may be directly involved in trafficking to lysosomes.

Description

Assembly Protein Complex 3 Human Recombinant produced in E. coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing amino acids (1-193) and having a total molecular mass of 22.2 kDa. AP3S2 contains T7 tag at N-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

Formulation

AP3S2 containing 10mM Tris, pH 8.0, 0.01% Triton X-100 and 0.002% NaN3 and 10mM DTT.

Stability

AP3S2 although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
