DERF1 is a thiol protease that hydrolyzes proteins, with a preference for Phe or basic residues. DERF1 is a C1 peptidase family member. DERF1 has extensive endopeptidase specificity. DERF1 causes an allergic reaction in humans. Common symptoms of mite allergy are bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.

Description: The E. coli derived recombinant protein contains the Der F1 epitopes 25-51, 74-95, 189-209 amino acids.

Method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Formulation: 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 6.5, 100mM Sodium Phosphate and 8M urea.

Storage: Der F1 although stable at 4°C for 1 week, should be stored below -18°C. Please prevent freeze thaw cycles.

Applications: Use as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blots.
