Background: DerF1 is a thiol protease that hydrolyzes proteins, with a preference for Phe or basic residues. DERF1 is a C1 peptidase family member. DERF1 has extensive endopeptidase specificity. DERF1 causes an allergic reaction in humans. Common symptoms of mite allergy are bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis and conjunctivitis.

Description: E.coli derived recombinant protein contains the Der F1 epitopes , amino acids: (25-51, 74-95, 189-209 a.a).

Purification method: Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity: Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Protein concentration: 10mM Tris-HCl, pH 6.5, 100mM Sodium Phosphate and 8M urea.

Storage: Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20°C.

Stability: Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Application: Use as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blots.
