Endoplasmic reticulum protein 27kDa (ERP27) is a widely expressed protein which localizes to the ER and may act as a protease, protein disulfide isomerase, thiol-disulfide oxidase or phospholipase. ERP27 doesn’t contain a CXXC active site motif indicating that it is a catalytically redox-inactive member of the protein disulfide isomerase family.

Description

ERP27 Human Recombinant fused with a 21 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 269 amino acids (26-273 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 30kDa. The ERP27 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation

The ERP27 solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris buffer(pH 8.0), 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Stability

ERP27 should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
